From an empty van to the drawings, in three steps

  1. Pick your vehicle.

118 versions of 32 van models, each with its own length, height, wheel arches and sliding door. If yours is different, adjust the dimensions by hand.

The dimensions come from each manufacturer’s spec sheet.

Drag in beds, a kitchen, a bathroom, batteries or tanks from 150 items. They snap to the walls, warn you if they hit a wheel arch and show you how much each axle is carrying.

The same van in section, without the near wall or the roof, with the bed at the back, the bathroom, the kitchen, the fridge and the overhead lockers in place.

What you take away

It all comes from your design, updates when you change it and downloads as a PDF.

Dimensioned drawings
Plan, elevations and sections with the dimensions of every unit.
Cut list
Every part with its size, and the sheets already laid out to make the most of them.
Parts for every unit
Which parts it’s made of and how big each one is.
Wiring diagram
Battery, chargers, inverter, solar panels and loads, with their fuses.
Bill of materials
Everything in the design, without prices.
Project dossier
Cover, spec sheet, axle loads, energy, water and gas, and the check for making it road-legal in Spain.
And also
A photo, a 360° video, a 3D model (GLB) and the whole project in a single file.

The road-legal check is a guide: it doesn’t replace an engineer or the Spanish vehicle inspection (ITV).

Plan sheet from the dimensioned drawings, with every unit numbered and dimensioned.
Cut list with the sheets laid out.
Wiring diagram with battery, chargers, fuses and loads.
Cover of the project dossier.

Design it beautifully, build it for real

What you see in 3D is what can be built: with its dimensions, its weight and its wiring and plumbing.

The numbers that matter.

Total weight against payload, load on each axle, battery and solar panels sized for the sun where you are and the time of year, days of water and gas, insulation and heating.

Axle load panel: 1,377 of 1,850 kg at the front and 1,434 of 2,000 kg at the rear, with the centre of gravity drawn over the van.
  • Weight on each axle, with its limit
  • Centre of gravity, from the side and from above

See it the way you’ll live in it.

Plan and side views with dimensions, a section to look inside, a virtual walk-through and daylight or night-time with your own lights.

Workshop documents.

Dimensioned drawings, a cut list showing how much of each sheet gets used, parts for every unit and a bill of materials.

Cut list: 70 parts laid out on 244 × 122 cm sheets, showing how much of each one is used.

Your furniture too.

Upload your own 3D object (.glb) or change the dimensions of any piece in the catalogue.

Share without sending files.

On your vehicle, not on a box.

Every version with its own length, height, wheel arches and sliding door. The bed knows whether it fits crossways, and the wardrobe whether it hits the wheel arch.

For people who build their own and people who commission one

If you’re building it yourself.

Plan before you buy the first sheet of plywood: check everything fits, the weight is well balanced and the battery will last. When you start cutting, you’ll already have the list.

Start designing

If a builder is doing it for you.

Work out the layout calmly at home, compare it with others and turn up at the workshop with your 3D design and your drawings. You’ll be talking about the same thing from day one.

If you’re a van builder.

Show your customers their camper before you build it and hand over drawings and a dossier. We’re preparing a plan for builders and we want to shape it with you.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Nothing during the beta: you can use everything without paying and without an account. What comes after hasn’t been decided yet, and we’ll announce it well in advance.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Open the editor and start. Your design is saved in your browser only.

Where are my designs saved? Can I lose them?

In your browser, on this device. If you clear your browser data or switch computers, you won’t see them: to keep a copy, export the project to a file from the Project menu.

Is my vehicle there?

Probably: there are 118 versions of 32 vans, from the Fiat Ducato to the Nissan NV200, including classics like the Sprinter W906 and electric vans. If yours isn’t there, get in touch and we’ll add it. In the meantime, start with the closest one and adjust the dimensions.

What about trucks, 4x4s or pick-ups with a camper?

They’re in development. For now the editor works with vans; on the vehicles page you can sign up to be told when they’re available.

Are the dimensions exact?

They’re the cargo area figures from each manufacturer’s spec sheet. Before you cut anything, measure your own vehicle: every van and every lining can vary by a centimetre or so.

Can I take the drawings to a builder?

Yes, that’s what they’re for. Download them as PDFs or share the link to the 3D design.

Does it help get the camper road-legal?

It helps you prepare: it checks what’s usually required in Spain and produces a dossier with the project data. It’s a guide only; the conversion has to be signed off by an engineer and approved at the ITV (the Spanish vehicle inspection). Other countries have their own rules.

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes, although a computer is more comfortable for detailed design work. On a phone it’s great for showing the design and checking it over.

Can I use my own furniture?

Yes. Change the dimensions of any item in the catalogue or upload your own 3D object in .glb format.

I run a conversion business. Can I use it with my customers?

Yes, you can already. And we’re preparing features for builders: if you’d like to try them first, tell us on the page for builders.

Start by measuring properly.

Pick your vehicle and place the first piece of furniture. You’ll know straight away whether your idea fits.
