Your designs
Designs are saved in your browser, on your device. We don’t receive them, with two exceptions that you decide on:
- If you report a bug and attach the project or the screenshot of the 3D view.
- If you share a link: the design travels inside the link itself (after the “#”), which never reaches our server; anyone with the link can see it.

We don’t make automated decisions or build profiles with your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who else processes it
We don’t share data with third parties unless required by law. These providers process it on our behalf (data processors), under contract and with safeguards:
- IONOS (the server that hosts the website and stores the messages and beta data), in the European Union.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (content delivery network, DNS, protection, cookieless analytics and email forwarding). Transfers to the US are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC: Google Analytics 4, only if you accept it, and the mailbox (Gmail) that receives what you write to our address. Same transfer framework.
Who has access within the project
Messages and bug reports are managed in our own tool hosted on the same server. Only the holder and the people helping with testing have access, under a duty of confidentiality.
How long we keep it
- Contact and builder messages: 12 months from the last communication.
- Waiting lists and notifications: until we send you the notification or you unsubscribe, and for 24 months at most.
- Bug reports, with their screenshot and project: 6 months.
- Beta usage events and errors: 180 days.
- Beta codes and devices: for as long as the beta lasts; then they’re deleted.
- Google Analytics 4: 2 months.
After that, it’s deleted or anonymised, unless the law requires us to keep it for longer.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability of your data, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to hola@kotacamper.com with the right you wish to exercise. We’ll reply within one month at most.
If you believe we haven’t handled your data properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Security and minors
The website only works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to the data is restricted and the server is in the European Union.
Kota Camper is not intended for children under 14.
