To stand up: L2H3. In the Transporter T5 the bed works better lengthwise. The shortest, for town and garages: L1H1.
Does a transverse bed fit in the Transporter T5?
Not as standard: there’s 124 cm between the wheel arches and you need about 136 cm. In the Transporter T5 the bed works better lengthwise.
How much weight can a converted Transporter T5 carry?
Depending on the version, the Transporter T5 has a factory payload of 950–1,050 kg (approx.). Insulation, lining, furniture, water, luggage and people all count: the editor adds it up as you design and warns you if you go over.
